JOHNS CREEK

Just 25 minutes northeast of Downtown Atlanta lies Johns Creek. This relatively young city offers an enchanting and thriving community with an innovative artistic culture, state-of-the-art innovation, and highly touted schools. It originally began as a high-tech office park planned community but has grown to a lively suburb as more people moved to this area to work. Johns Creek was founded in 1981 by three Georgia Tech graduates as a high-tech park and living community. It became an incorporated city in 2006. Since then, it has grown into a mecca of businesses and a desirable place to raise a family. It offers a large art center, several annual festivals, and a professional orchestra that draw locals and visitors into this place. It also provides several outdoor recreational activities, such as golf and tennis, to name a few.
