CUMMING

The County Seat of Forsyth County, Cumming is located about 40 miles north of the city of Atlanta and was founded in 1833, just one year after Forsyth County was created.  Early on, the city benefited from the gold mining industry pushing businesses to be created to meet the needs of the gold miners.
